Well one way to help declutter your home is to switch to paperless billing.

Truly things have changed these days, and with everything going digital, there is no better time to switch to paperless billing. In this digital age where we spend 3/4 of our waking time staring at screens, it seems like there could be no better time to let go of the hard copy.

Here are some pros of switching to paperless billing:-

1. There is a lot of trees that go into producing paper and by switching to paperless billing you will be doing your bit to save the planet.

2. Your home will be free from unnecessary paper. Most of us have bills and statements that we have never opened so why receive them in the first place. Once those paper bills accumulate, it is a lot harder to get rid of them. So best stop them making way into your home.

3. With paperless billing, you can easily track your transactions online. The issue with paper is that it will quickly pile up and before you know it, you cannot find what you are looking for. With online billing you can become more organised as you can quickly go through transactions, sort them in date order, amount order, alphabetic order, generate reports and analyse statements. What’s more statements can be in a number of formats, pdf, excel etc. You can download the statements, save on your desktop, email them etc. So not only does online billing give greater clarity, it also gives greater flexibility.

1. Worse, paper statements could wind up in the wrong hands. Yes, we have shredders in our homes but sometimes when the paper pile gets overwhelming it is tempting just to quickly get rid of it without shredding.

So get one step closer to decluttering your home by going paperless. Decluttering is an ongoing job as with each day we accumulate more, however, every little does help.
